The mission success chance is calculated based on two factors: how many Bosses you were able to counter and how strongly geared your Bera Party is.

Quests are easy, meaning most Beras will have a 100% success chance

While Quests and Elite Quests are relatively easy, Raids require some good party planning strategy.

If you can't counter all of the Raid Bosses your success chance won't be high

Strategizing around Mission Success Chance is crucial to optimal gameplay and obtaining the most Gems. Remember, you don't need to always aim for 100%. It's a game of odds.
